The TR collective agreement applies to federal employees of the Translation (TR) group. We are negotiating the agreement with the Labour Council of Canada, which is covered by the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Act. The last contract was signed in April 2019 and is valid until April 22, 2022. The latest information that is out there (Note, I`m with PIPSC, so I don`t have access to the PA group at PSAC) is that you prepare people for possible strikes: psacunion.ca/government-walks-away-pre-election-deal and psacunion.ca/treasury-board-bargaining-strike-timeline – Wage rates will be changed within a hundred and ninety years after the signing of the financial agreement (IF). In accordance with Schedule “E” of the FI collective agreement, rates are paid in lump sums before the salary change: Follow us for special online training on various aspects of the new collective agreement. Some collective agreements provide for lump sum payments to workers instead of retroactive wage increases or in the form of compensatory supplements. Unless otherwise made by the CFO, these lump sum payments must also be made to workers excluded from the collective agreement as exclusions from business or confidentiality, although they are classified as a category or professional level under the collective agreement. Bargaining Partners: UNIFOR Collective Agreement Airtime: June 30, 2022 Dispute Resolution Mechanism: Arbitration Groups AV, NR, RE, SH, SP, NRC (LS, IR, RO-RCO, TR), CRA (AFS), OSFI, CNSC (NUREG), NEB and NFB have negotiated and ratified new collective agreements. Some groups continue their important work at the negotiating table. We stand in solidarity for a fair deal for every PIPSC member. In 2017, the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board decided that civilian members of the RCMP should be considered public service officers with the TRL classification, which perform work similar to those of members of the public service. When this decision comes into effect, TRL employees will be considered part of RT`s bargaining unit. Until then, RCMP`s terms and conditions continue to apply to TRL members.
However, these members can benefit from a number of CAPE benefits, including assistance in filing complaints and representation in discussions with the Ministry of Finance secretariat.
